Opinion Poll

Yes- it's November and I won't bore you with any political opinion polls.
This is a poll something GLOBAL...about Sea Hag and the LOGO.

QUESTION-Should the Hag label be changed?
Be pretty? Does it offend you? Are you void of humor?
I seriously need your input and a friend told me when I told her about this
question that I shouldn't answer or explain- I was "leading the witness" with my explanation-so Follow me.....I never could play by the rules...

My answer-...The Hag is the Happy Spirit -she's a place where you get to AFTER trying to do the beauty thing your whole life -You go through a lot of pain ,suffering-then PEACE -ACCEPTANCE !! Get to "I'm OK AS IS..
a work is progress -not always done up -but can clean up if need be...with Sea Hag Soaps of course!

Did you say mushrooms???? Hen Of The Woods

OK it's official- 'shroom frenzy has over taken my former calm cool self.
I worked my body into a over cooked casserole this am but as I was heading back home...the thought of an oak tree in an undisclosed location that started calling to me...
"You'd better get me QUICK before those you've taken under your tutelage beat you to me"
Still sweating -yoga pants and sneakers I aim Ruth (my new to me `RAV) towards
the oak tree.Raining hard or "monsoon" like would be understating the conditions.
Luckily the tree was not too far from a blacktopped driveway. I wandered in and found it....a bit young and wimpy. Yes,I could be patient(my best virtue)and wait a few more days....hmmm two baby hens. I decided to grab one in case the world "collaspes" as my cheery son forecasts.
OK -now go home and take a shower-
NO WAY. There more oaks to be checked by me!!!
Grace and I Head out again after changing just my shoes to MUCK Mocs (too low). The woods are flooded with waterfalls and rivers but we forge ahead slipping and tripping over
soaked logs and rocks,,,Grace is thinking"I could do better".Newts are grabbing life twigs.
We got to a group of trees and NOTHING! We slowly make our way back home
soaked through and I'm thinking to myself,"This is really wonderful out here and I hope this is what I'm doing on my last day on this planet"

Tim Fallon coming to Sea Hag

It's Wednesday evening with the birds outside trying to compete for loudest and best songs on "Birds Got talent" Show. I admire them because I personally don't possess
that talent but I do have a wonderful friend and voice who will be in here in
less than 48 hours! Tim Fallon-an international Opera star will be coming to little
Sea Hag barn Friday July 8th at 4PM to sing for whomever is here to listen.
I met Tim and his partner Avery Jennings(who is also an artist with work here at Sea Hag)
last Summer and immediately fell in LOVE both of them. They are warm real people
who love life and art and made the mistake of inviting me to Germany.
I made the visit in April and had a blast and now they will be back here!!!
Yes,I know Summer is BUSY!! Too much to do and too many people to see.
Every weekend is planned out and then it's all over...I know I know.
But the good news is you can fill that time with same old -same old or treat yourself
to things that you really enjoy and be with the people who matter most.
Hold on to these Utopia days and friends that matter.

All the Best,
Coll

Winter Is GONE

Ok, it's now officially daylight savings time and along with that winter is over!
I know it'll continue to tickle us but I think everyone is done laughing.
I climbed Vly & Bearpen peaks in the Catskills last Sunday with Grace
and a group from the 3500 club.I was really pooped after walking in the rain
for four and a half hours...in snow shoes.I got thoroughly SOAKED
but not much better than changing into all dry clothes and getting WARM.
On the trip home we (Grace and I) saw mature bald eagle over reservoir.
There were some high points in the day.

Sea Hag Soaps & Art Mercantile web page has gone through some changes
for the EASE of shopping. There are fewer clicks and now we're selling some art work on the site. www.seahagsoaps.com
